I returned from LA and Las Vegas with a huge list of companies wanting to view the trailer and know more about The Kindness of Strangers. First priority is to get the trailer finished and continue with the post-production process. Music Superviser John Mostyn is collecting a range of music tracks so we can build a fabulous soundtrack. What a red letter day!After a wonderful morning start at the beach, dipping my toes in the surf and french toast at my favourite venice beach haunt, The Fig Tree, it was down to business.I signed my contract for directing Not Only Angels Fly! Another busy day started with a walk to Venice Beach for breakfast at the Fig Tree restaurant. Walkign back I dipped my toes in the pacific ocean as I negotiated a contract for directing Not Only Angels Can Fly.  It's the best way of doing business! A day packed with meetings, producers, lawyers, sales agents, distributors and buyers from around the globe. Time difference means I'm still waking at the crack of dawn which gave me time for a swim and a steam but I still managed to meet an indian buyer before breakfast.Producer Andy Thompson was incredibly kind and generous with his time and support. End of first full day at the American Film Market! A fabulous experience to be surrounded by the industry professionals from around the world. The day started with an inspirational walk along the shoreline of Santa Monica and the pier. Sun, sea and selling, The American Film Market is amazing. Today I've already heard a great story from the producer of Sharon Stone's new movie and met more buyers, one of who came to our hotel room by mistake but agreed to watch the trailer and see more details of the movie!
